How do I know if personal coaching is right for me?
• Are you living your life by design or according to someone else’s plan for you?
• Is there a gap between where you are now and where you want to be?
• Do you feel overwhelmed by your commitments and the gap between want you want to accomplish and what you’ve actually got time to do?
• Do you know what a home run would look like for you?
• Are your values and priorities filling the foreground of your life or are your days mostly full of the little stuff?
• Are you a victim of your own success—"all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy?"
• Do you depend on occasional vacations to get centered and re-focused on what is truly important?
• Would the creation of a 5-year plan or a 10-year plan for your life be meaningful?
• Are you curious to explore your life purpose—do you have a sneaking suspicion it must be something larger than meeting your monthly expenses and checking items off your ‘to-do’ list?
• Are you curious to explore where you take your foot off the gas and what ‘pedal to the metal’ might look like and feel like?
• Are you ready to play a bigger game on a greener field but aren’t quite sure what the ‘game’ is or how to get to the field?
• Are you stuck in an unsuccessful pattern and find it hard to break into a new orbit?

If any of these questions resonate with you, then coaching may make an enormous difference in your life. Please click here to schedule a FREE 30 Minute Session to explore in more depth how personal coaching may augment your life.

How do I know if coaching can benefit my business?
Businesses are complex living organisms. A healthy business depends on good leadership and motivated staff who feel up to the challenge presented by a business world moving at warp speed. What do you do if a key manager or executive is de-railing? How can you create teams which function like well-oiled machines? How can you train new managers to take on leadership roles when they are missing some key leadership and interpersonal skills? Where can a CEO turn for objective guidance and honest feedback?

• Understanding of your strengths and gifts and the means to leverage them to greater effect in your life.
• Consistent, weekly work integrating your learning so that change is accomplished and sustained results are achieved.

What’s the difference between coaching and therapy and consulting?
Here’s a parable about a guy and a bicycle that sums up the differences quite succinctly:

A guy wants to buy a bicycle. He goes to a therapist and says "I want to buy a bicycle." The therapist helps him understand why he wants to buy the bicycle. Maybe there is something in his past that can inform him about what the bicycle really means to him. He goes to a consultant and says "I want to buy a bicycle." The consultant does a lot of research and presents the guy with a suggestion for the very best bicycle to purchase within the guy’s price range. The man ambles on to converse with a coach. "I want to buy a bike," he says. "Great" says the coach. "I’ll grab another bike and pedal along beside you. Where would you like to go?"

• Select a therapist if you have past issues that remain unresolved and which continue to hold you back from living the life you wish to lead and deserve to enjoy.
• Hire a consultant when you want someone’s expertise on a very specific subject area and require a solution that you can implement as directed.
• Hire a coach when you are looking for a partner who will stand with you at the helm of your ship as you plot your course and fill your sails.

- Hire a coach when you are looking for a trained professional who has space for your fears and limitations but is absolutely committed to interacting with your magnificence.
- Hire a coach if you are looking for a relationship where your agenda is the primary and sole focus of the work.
- Hire a coach when you seek a partner who is firmly committed to your creation of a life that is richly satisfying to you. A good coach has no agenda for his clients and listens deeply to understand exactly what makes you tick.
- Hire a coach when you know that bold probing, fearless, honest feed-back, powerful challenges and ongoing accountability will help you create change, spread your wings and take flight.

How often do you coach? What’s the process like?

At Pegasus Coaching Group we launch business and individual coaching relationships with a 2-hour Discovery Session that explores the terrain and agenda of the coaching.

After Discovery, Pegasus founder Dina Silver coaches individual clients weekly with a minimum commitment of three months. These scheduled sessions provide a consistent framework within which the client can grow, explore and then commit to the actions that will move him toward his goal. Weekly homework keeps the client on track, moving forward and accountable for his own success.

Our work with business clients is customized to the job. We may develop a team-building workshop followed by individual coaching of key managers; we may work one-on-one with a CEO or several key executives, we may be asked to develop an off-site program and follow it with individual coaching as needed. After we understand the client’s intention we deliver a proposal delineating our suggested course of action.

Individual coaching sessions occur by phone or in person at my office, depending on the client’s preference. Business coaching occurs at your place of business and by telephone as appropriate.

Complimentary sample sessions are offered to individuals as well as businesses.

What training do you have?
Dina Silver, CPCC was privileged to train at one of the pre-eminent training institutes in the world, the Coaches Training Institute (CTI) in San Rafael, California. She followed the initial training with a six-month intensive certification program and was certified through CTI in February 2002. The CPCC stands for Certified Professional Co-Active Coach.

How long does it take?
Individual coaching is pro-active, incisive, powerful work. Bit my bit my clients change their lives discarding old behaviors, unproductive habits and limiting beliefs in favor of new maps and richer lives. But whatever way you look at it, change takes time. Whether you’re thirty or sixty, your habits of mind and behavior have been honed over decades. Coaching provides an extraordinary vehicle for change but the bottom line is you have to do the changing.

Some people lean into change and dive eagerly into this unfamiliar ocean while others tentatively dip their toe in the water preferring slow immersion to a bracing plunge. So the length of time we coach is determined by the nature of your circumstances in combination with the shift you intend to make and your ability and willingness to take the plunge.

I request a three-month commitment from all of my individual clients. Some clients make significant changes in this time frame, and most take longer. On average, I coach most people for 8 months – one year.
